About Birdai Labs

Fair execution shouldn't be a promise. It should be a measurement.

Birdai Labs builds neutral infrastructure for onchain execution quality: it measures where value leaks between an order and its fill, proves it against the chain, and is built to return it.

Mission

Value must flow through every layer fairly.

In today's onchain markets, value is taken from the traders who create it, in the gap between an order and its fill. It's hidden, unaccountable, and priced into every trade.

Traditional markets spent decades building the rules and measurement that made execution accountable. Onchain markets have none of that infrastructure. Birdai builds it: a standard for measuring execution quality, the surveillance substrate to enforce it, and the routing to act on it.

Where we come from

We watched TradFi solve this problem. Then we watched DeFi recreate it.

01

Random Forest to Franklin Templeton

Kevin Farrelly founded Random Forest Capital, a machine-learning credit company acquired by Franklin Templeton in 2018, then spent seven years building FT's blockchain venture programs. Greg Scanlon spent his prior years as a Senior Quantitative Trader at Citadel.

02

The venture desk, together

Kevin and Greg served together on Franklin Templeton's Digital Assets Venture Capital team, investing across crypto infrastructure. Deal after deal, the same gap surfaced: onchain markets had no Rule 605, no FINRA 5310, no standard for execution quality at all.

03

Birdai Labs

So in 2025 they founded Birdai Labs in San Francisco, self-funding and building the initial infrastructure themselves before raising outside capital. Birdai reconstructs execution from finalized blocks: every arbitrage, backrun, and sandwich, on every venue in scope. It holds itself to the market structure principles institutional capital requires.
